Well, today was a good day. It started off with an AP English test, bright and early at 8 o'clock on the dot. In the first portion of the test, my classmates and I had to take a 55 multiple choice question test. Then, we had to write three essays, the first being the hardest and the last being oh so easy. I think I did pretty well. Wish me luck when I get ready to receive my scores.
Today was also the last day for the seniors. A time like this is always an emotional one- for most people. We were all hugging, crying, and telling each other how much we'd miss them. Only a few people weren't all in their feelings, because they knew that they'd be back and would see their friends again (yes, that happens very often in my school. The seniors always come back to visit :) It's a small community).
And it turned that we did see them again...that very night! There was an awards banquet at my school that same evening. As expected, I took home the most trophies from everyone in my class (take that Gueshnia! I am going to be valedictorian!) It was good to see my friends win awards for athletics and leadership scholarships as well. In between every now and then, there were videos put up on the projector screen for all to see. One was a humorous PSA, one a uniform video, and one of the year in review (my personal favorite). To top it all off, Glee sang "You Gotta Be" at the end of the banquet (or, at least our version anyway), and we performed very well.
This is a good start to my final days of this school year! I can't wait!
